Console Registry Changelog
Human classification decisions for the consoles table (U5). The registry is
a versioned parameter of the methodology (G3): every language change or
review sign-off is recorded here with its rationale. The pipeline never
auto-classifies — new consoles arrive as ‘unknown’ and wait for an entry in
this log.

Pokemon Korean Base Set: ‘unknown’ → ‘ko’, reviewed = true. Classified by Mason. Arrived 2026-07-03 via the pipeline’s new-console queue (ingest_runsid 5 flagged it loudly, auto-registered ‘unknown’). It remains in no index — no ‘ko’ variant exists; ‘ko’ consoles belong to no index until one does, and the snapshots keep accumulating for it regardless. 1 product. Applied as a documented one-off UPDATE (registry fixes are data changes, not engine code).

Pokemon Sealdass Fancy Graffiti: ‘en’ → ‘ja’, reviewed = true. Flagged by the v4 suspect-keyword check (“Sealdass”). Sealdass is a Bandai sticker-card line sold in Japan; the console name lacks the “Japanese” marker the seeding rule keyed on. 24 products move from the English flagship universe to the Pokemon Japan variant universe (max PSA 10 price $775.50 — no top-40 impact on either list). One Piece Carddass Hyper Battle First Stage: ‘en’ → ‘ja’, reviewed = true. Flagged by the suspect-keyword check (“Carddass”). Carddass is Bandai’s Japanese vending-machine card system. 25 products; no universe impact today because the One Piece first look does not split by language yet — the classification is recorded for when it does.

- Registry seeded from all consoles in snapshot data (1,228 rows: 657 en / 444 ja / 79 zh / 48 ko) by word-boundary marker match (“Japanese” → ja, “Chinese” → zh, “Korean” → ko, else en), all reviewed = false. Full print: ../reports/console-registry-2026-07-02.txt.
